Don't Become a Part of the Prison Industrial Complex

Social media has become a platform and conduit for crime. Many countries are seeing a spike in criminality...especially female crimes. Why is this occuring? Young men and women want recognition. We all want and have the need to be heard and to be seen. Applications such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and WhatsApp have made it easy to stay in touch with anyone and everyone. What was once the domain of our darker mental recesses has now come full view through our social media footprint. Where you once wished someone dead as an emotional release can now lead to criminal charges of intent, God forbid, should they decide to commit suicide or if they find an unusual demise. Even adolescent screams of "I hate you!" and "I wish something bad would happen to you" are now taken from the realm of emotion to the heights of "probable cause" and "criminal intent".

Our youth are being vilified. Youthful outbursts are now felonies. This new state of criminality is actually a new trend and it is often racially mediated.

The criminalization of your thoughts and your emotions can gravely alter your future if you dare to share your internal dialogue with the World Wide Web. So how do you channel your emotion and your thirst for technology?....Coding is the answer! Having the opportunity to create secret language that can promote social media platforms is key. We want you! We want young women to join us in the art of coding. Once you learn how to code, you have the ability to open new possibilities in several fields. Cyber sleuths are internet detectives. Every role in computer technology is vital. Understanding how computers function and writing new language for those platforms is what we provide at MISLA.ORG. You can re-write your own cyber destiny and be the captor and not the prisoner.
